I believe storytelling is a force multiplier, but it is only one part of the work. My real strength is building the strategy, structure, and clarity that turn mission into movement. I work at the intersection of social impact and health, translating complex ideas into actionable communications that shift culture, strengthen systems, and drive measurable change.
I currently serve as Head of Marketing at The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation (NASDAQ: TOI), one of the nation’s largest value-based oncology practices. I oversee all pillars of marketing and communications for a public company. This includes brand strategy, investor communications, internal communications, and the narratives that carry our mission across every level of the organization, from patients to investors. I lead brand marketing and public relations across multiple states and design campaigns that make high-quality cancer care visible and accessible to the communities who need it most.
Before TOI, I partnered with Pacific Community Ventures to reshape how capital can be used as a tool for community health. My work supported a lending pipeline that expanded access to resources for underinvested small business owners. At Heluna Health, I led communications for a 400 million dollar public health enterprise and amplified programs that protect vulnerable communities and strengthen the systems that serve them.
My background reflects the same commitment that guides my work. I hold a Master’s in Health Communications from Boston University, an MSc in Gerontology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and a Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology and Human Biology from San Diego State University.
My career began in public health and has always been rooted in equity. I have shaped strategic communications for Global Exchange, Global Healing, UW Medicine, Sea Mar Community Health Centers, the Institute for Public Strategies, SDSU Research Foundation, and the San Diego Medical Society Foundation. Across every role, my focus stays the same. Communications should shift understanding, close gaps, and connect people to what they deserve.
